B. Sc. II Oral Examination

The Department of Statistics conducted the Oral Examination for B.Sc. II Major Statistics students on 12th August 2026 at 11:00 a.m

The examination covered:

• Paper V – Continuous Probability Distributions-I, with focus on Univariate Continuous Distributions

• Paper VI – Correlation and Regression Analysis, with focus on Correlation

The oral examination provided students an opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of important statistical concepts, formulae, and applications covered in the respective papers.
Students participated in the examination with due preparation and followed the instructions of the department. The activity contributed towards strengthening students’ conceptual understanding, statistical reasoning, and communication skills as part of the academic evaluation.
